On June 25th, 2024, Frederika Pajonková, MSc. succesfully defended her PhD thesis with the title „The impact of movement intervention on the musculoskeletal system of female football players in the context of their quality of life“ at the Faculty of Sports, University of Prešov, Slovakia. The dissertation thesis focuses on elucidating the impact of neuromuscular warm-up on the correction and stabilization of functional impairments in female football players in the context of their quality of life. For the assessment of the contractile properties of the football players’ muscles, the tensiomyography was used.
On June 5th, 2024, Brian Gašparik, BSc. succesfully defended his Master thesis with the title „Relationships between physical activity-related injuries, objectively measured BMI and selected parameters of body composition in adolescents from the Prešov region“ at the Faculty of Sports, University of Prešov, Slovakia. Data on physical activity-related injuries from PARIPRE project were analysed together with the data on BMI and body composition obtained using a SECA 213 stadiometer and an InBody 230 device.
